art show -

recently we attended a pizza party and art show at my sweet baby girl ashlyn's school. it was a super fun family night and it was such a joy to see all of the wonderful art work created by all of the children at her school. there were several great creations, however these were two of my favorite pieces by this artist. thanks for lettingme share this beautiful art work created by my sweet little ashlyn. have a wonderful day. smiles, m-

mini - projects

hey friends, it's been awhile. i have honestly just been in kind of a funk lately and my creative process has been lacking. i am still in the process of trying to begin some new projects for 2010. like 365-photos and a layout a day - but i have been bad and missed a few days here and there. but i am trying to get into the groove of things. lately i have caught up with lovin mini-books. i have a few that i have been working on. and i am trying to make small simple ones to capture everyday life. this is just a quick little simple mini-book that i created awhile back of my baby girl on the tractor. there are just a few pages and it is a really simple design. i am looking for more great ideas for mini-books. so if anybody has any ideas i would totally love for you to share your info with me. until next time thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day! smiles, m-

wow. it has been such a long time since i have blogged. i know that i had been in kind of a rut.. but it is now a new year and it is time for new things. but before i venture upon many new things i feel like i need to focus on a few things from this past year. i thought that i would share a few of my favorites from 2009. these are just a few layouts that i created and really loved. i am hoping that this new year brings many wonderful creative new things into my life. happy 2010 friends. smiles. m-

happy thursday friends! tomorrow is friday - yippee!! i am so ready for the weekend. it is gonna just be a blast! omg, i so totally can not wait for saturday. i am attending a "scrap pink" crop at one of the local scrapbook stores in my area with my sister. i am just so excited!! we are so looking forward to it. so it starts at 10:00am and lasts until mid-night, whoo-hoo!! fun times to be had - for sure. right now i am trying to get everything ready. this will be my very first time to attend a crop that lasts this long. and i am so totally clueless as to what i should take and what i want to work on, etc... any suggestions?! eek - i am just so totally stoked! it will be a day of pure scrappy sweetness - and speaking of sweetness i thought that i would post a pic of my all time favorite layout *sweetness*: created with my all time favorite products - i {heart} american crafts! and i just love this pic of little miss bryn too (sigh they just grow-up way too darn fast). thx for stopping by and peeking - hope you guys have a totally super day!! :) smiles, m-

* colors of summer *

happy tuesday friends! i just wanted to share one of my favorite layouts that i created for the birthday bash crop at scrapattack this past weekend. this layout was for the scraplift challenge and we were all assigned another member to lift that had signed up to play along - and i lifted a diggi layout by joyce ann. and i am i just lovin' the results! so for this layout i used some super fun new sassafrass lass - me likey papers, stickers and die-cuts. it was super fun to play with and i can't wait to pick up some more. totally yumminess! well, thanks for stopping by and i hope that you all have a wonderful day! :) smiles, m-
